Four Centuries House Tour
The Ellsworth Homestead will be a featured
site on a Four Centuries House Tour sponsored by the Windsor Historical
Society. A selection of historic Windsor residences will be open for
public touring from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Costumed members of the
Windsor Jesters community theater group portraying early homeowners will
welcome tour participants. Advance tickets: $20; day-of-tour tickets

Ice Cream Social and Yard Sale
The Annual Ice Cream Social and Yard Sale runs from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00
p.m. offering you a wide range of activities. Tour the Homestead
and visit Abigail's Farm Stand with fresh vegetables, baked goods, and
much more. Find treasures among the many yard sale tables or rent
your own space to sell treasures to others. Top it all off with
hot dogs, ice cream sundaes and other goodies. Entertainment is

Annual Colonial Supper
On Saturday, September 6th, come and enjoy our annual Colonial Ham &
Bean Supper. Connecticut Daughters of the American Revolution
serve a traditional supper of ham, baked beans, potato salad, raisin
bread, dessert and beverage from 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Quilt Show
An American Quilt Show will be held by the Connecticut Daughters of the
American Revolution on Saturday and Sunday, September 13 and 14, 2008,
at the historic Oliver Ellsworth Homestead in Windsor. Quilts of
yesterday and today, judging, vendors and refreshments. For more
