CT DAR Library
The Connecticut Daughters of the American Revolution
Library and Archives are housed at the Oliver Ellsworth Homestead. The
reference library is open to all Connecticut DAR members during times
the homestead itself is open. All other visitors should contact either
the CTDAR State Librarian or
a Member of the Library Committee for a review of the search criteria
and/or to make arrangements for a visit. The Connecticut DAR archives
are under the supervision of the CTDAR
State Historian and she should be contacted with any request for
information .
The library collection includes DAR magazines, general DAR publications,
DAR scrapbooks, and a variety of genealogical, historical and other
non-fiction material donated by Connecticut DAR members.
The Connecticut DAR archives contain materials from disbanded chapters,
active chapters, and a variety of other materials.
